Not only is this a mistake, but it can be absolutely catastrophic. You need to know what your audience likes, how they communicate, and where they go for information. Today’s consumers are much more techno-savvy than those in the past, and you must learn to capitalize on that.

We live in a day and age where the personal brand behind a business is often as important as the company’s brand itself. It seems that every week, we hear about another company that’s being shunned or boycotted against because their owner, manager, or executive doesn’t meet the values of their audience. You want your audience to like you as a person. This will help to ensure your success. And, for god’s sake, if you’re going to throw someone off a plane, you better have a damn good reason!

Use Visuals to Your Advantage
A picture is worth a thousand words… human beings are visual creatures… blah blah blah. Yes, you’ve heard it all before, but that doesn’t stop it from being absolutely true. Just look at the world around us. We have selfies, foodie pics, video reactions, and a whole slew of other visual engagements that keep people interested and entertained.
